From the Title screen, click on anywhere (except the menu line) or press the ENTER or SPACEBAR key. The aim of the game is to collect as many rubies as possible before collecting the key – this moves the character to the next level. A life can be lost by bumping into a red blob or by falling to the bottom of the screen. If you lose all your lives then the game is over and you return to the Title screen. While playing, the speed of the character can be temporarily adjusted by pressing the number keys 1-5. The speed of the red blobs can be temporarily adjusted by pressing keys 1-5 on the numeric keypad. This will hold until you return to the main screen. To make a more permanent adjustment of the character speed use the OPTIONS screen. Previous:
