The game character can be controlled by a variety of methods: Keyboard - hold down
a cursor key or press and release one of the following keys: Unlike the cursor keys which need to be held down, pressing one of the A,W,X, or D keys will start the character moving and he will only stop when he hits an obstacle or when another key is pressed. If you want to try the game with Speech Recognition then these are the keys to "say". Mouse - Clicking on the game screen will move the character towards the mouse cursor. eg. To move right, position the mouse cursor level with the character and to the right of it, and the character will move right. Joystick – Use the joystick to move the character or use the fire button to act as a switch for scanning (see scanning below). Before you can use the joystick you must go to the Title screen press "CTRL Y" and click on the "joystick" box in the control panel. Switch - (Spacebar) Pressing the Spacebar (or a switch emulating the Spacebar) will display a rotating arrow at the character poistion. When the arrow is pointing in the direction you want the character to move then press the Spacebar again - the arrow will disappear and the character will move in the arrow direction.
