"Alien Invasion" is an "Invaders style" game with very wide flexibility. Adjust the game to make it as easy or hard to win as you require. The game can be successfully played with a wide range of standard and adaptive technology controls (expanded keyboards, head-mouse, even speech recognition). Use the Control Panel to adjust the gameplay. All the major actions in the game can be adjusted through a very wide range to ensure almost anyone can play sucessfully. At it's most basic level (one large alien moving at a slow speed and the player using maximum fire power) it is just one-step-up from a "Cause and Effect" game. As the player's ability increases you can increase the number of aliens, increase their speed, or increase their firepower - all in gradual increments. Setting up the "Alien Invasion" game is easy. 1. From the title screen select OPTIONS and choose:
2. Return to the title screen and press your control to move to the game screen. The game starts when you fire the first shot. The control panel can be adjusted at any time - even while the game is being played. To adjust the control panel first select the item (eg. Speed) you want to change by moving the highlight box over it, then adjust the sliders to set the level you require. There is one slider for each player, so each player can have their own settings. This allows two players of unequal abilities to play competitively. The images below demonstrate the changing of just one parameter, MULTIPLE, this controls the spread of your fire, from one (1st image) though to nine (2nd image).
